Francesca Rausi Participates in London Fashion Week

A Maltese model with Down syndrome who is only Five years old dominates the international catwalk at the London Fashion Week .

Francesca Rausi, a Maltese model who is five years old and has Down syndrome, was in full command of the runway during London Fashion Week. Last Sunday, Rausi, who already has a number of achievements and awards under her belt, represented Malta as she made her way across the international catwalk to a multitude of shouts and encouragement from a variety of people. Her mother posted a video to Facebook of Rausi strutting her way on the catwalk, adding that today is the day when her cherished daughter shines and that she is the source of satisfaction for Malta. Since she began competing in the scene when she was just 3 years old, little Francesca has been sweeping all of the regional events she has entered.

Her mother Michelle stated that her daughter was the “first child with Down Syndrome to represent Malta in London Fashion Week.

“And she made it. She really rocked the catwalk, what a proud moment. Franny was the first child with Down syndrome to represent Malta in London Fashion Week,” her mum said after her show.

Francesca demonstrated to everyone that she is an absolute natural at the craft, which resulted in her garnering followers and support from all around the island as well as from other countries. Francesca was the highlight of the evening because she carried herself with a composure and elegance that was unmatched, looking stunning in her pink sophisticated dress and floral head band.
